She was placed 7th in the figures (the technical tests) and the Solo (2½ minute routine to music) and placed 7th overall, out of 101 competitors; the majority of whom were considerably more experienced than Bella. She and her partner were also placed 5th of 14 in the duets.

This exceptional performance won Bella a place on the England Talent Development Squad, which feeds directly into the full national team. Bella is also on the British Champions squad in her club, Rushmoor.

Year 10 pupil Lucy Brigly is an upcoming netball star and, following selection for the England netball Regional Performance Academy, has been called up to play for the England U15s in a European Tournament this Spring. She currently plays for Team Bath U17 Future Squad.

Lucy has an intense training regime with four technical sessions a week to develop her skills. In addition, she builds strength through circuit training twice a week, a home weights programme and a fitness session to build speed and ability.
