STONAR EQUESTRIAN EVENTS

There are regular opportunities for riders to compete in the school's weekly dressage and show jumping accumulator events, plus the Christmas and Easter shows. Stonar also hosts an Inter-Schools One Day Event championships in the spring and autumn terms; riders are selected to represent the school at these.

NATIONAL SCHOOLS EQUESTRIAN ASSOCIATION (NSEA)

Each term the Riding Department selects up to six NSEA affiliated inter schools events at which to compete. Teams are selected to represent Stonar and are accompanied by a member of the Riding staff.

NATIONAL SCHOOLS & PONY CLUB SHOW JUMPING CHAMPIONSHIPS

In August, junior and senior teams compete at the National Schools Show Jumping Championships at Hickstead. Teams are selected in the summer term and are accompanied by a member of the Riding staff.

EXTERNAL EVENTS

Riding scholars and experienced riders may, with the Director of Riding's permission, represent the school as individuals in other inter school competitions. The Riding Office can assist in arranging transport to such events but parents will need accompany riders to such competitions.
