Stonar Artists Inspired in London

Art and photography students visited London in January, taking in two very different experiences.

Artists went to the Tate Britain where pupils saw a wide variety of artwork, including works studied in school. They then worked directly from the artworks linking to their current art projects.

The photography students went to the Imperial War Museum to visit the Lee Miller exhibition, entitled 'A Woman's War.' The exhibition was a beautifully presented range of images which documented Miller's evolving vision of women's roles and lives in Britain and Europe as she travelled between countries before, during and in the immediate aftermath of war.
